I’m passionate
about counseling!

My name is Jason Lynch, and I am the owner of The Counseling Center, located in Noblesville, Indiana.  I’m passionate about finding innovative ways to help my clients recover from life’s daily challenges. My clinical work involves providing counseling to clients with:  anxiety, depression, addiction, anger, chronic relapse, poor communication, low self-esteem, LGBTQ concerns, unhealthy intimacy and sexual addiction, and grief and loss.

In most cases your first appointment can be scheduled within 72 hours. Evening and weekend appointments are available for the convenience of my clients.

Areas of Specialty

This is only a small representation of the conditions I treat in clinical practice.

Substance Use Disorders

Whether you are seeking treatment for the first time, or you are struggling to stay sober following a period of sobriety, I can help you address the underlying reasons for your substance abuse.

Anxiety and Depression

Anxiety and depression are two of the most common reasons for seeking mental health treatment. There are many treatment options available.

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is particularly effective in treating both anxiety and depression. CBT examines the relationship between beliefs, thoughts, and feelings and the behaviors that follow. CBT helps clients explore how their perceptions affect how they respond in certain situations. In other words, a person’s thought process informs their behaviors and actions.

LGBTQ Counseling

The Counseling Center is a Safe Zone for our LGBTQ counseling clients. When seeking counseling, finding a qualified mental health professional who has experience and familiarity with issues that confront the LGBTQ community is critical. Therefore, I believe in providing LGBTQ affirmative treatment. Whether lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, or queer, everyone deserves to be supported, understood, and celebrated.dd

Frequently Asked Questions…

It’s common to have questions about counseling.  From experience, here are the most frequently asked questions.

I do not bill insurance companies directly for counseling sessions. Services may be eligible for reimbursement through out-of-network benefits, medical spending, or health care savings accounts. Health insurance plans and mental health benefits vary. If you are interested in using your health insurance for counseling, please call your insurance provider to inquire about reimbursement for out-of-network counseling services. I can provide you with a statement to submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement.
Often, people are surprised to learn their insurance doesn’t cover counseling, only covers a few sessions, only covers certain mental health disorders or requires a high co-pay or deductible.

Individual counseling is a one-on-one discussion between the counselor and the client. The two form a therapeutic relationship that promotes trust and personal growth. Counseling allows individuals to explore their feelings, beliefs, and behaviors, and work through challenging or difficult memories. Counseling helps many patients better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change.
